2015 Ford Police Interceptor AWD, VIN: 1FM5K8AR3FGA56828  (138,493 miles),  Engine: (3.7L V6 TIVCT) Vehicle color: (Black/White).  This vehicle was manufactured by Ford specifically for law enforcement and is based on the Ford Explorer platform. This one-owner 2015 Ford Police Interceptor was purchased in Sept. 2014 and was used as a fully marked police car. This vehicle up for auction is in fair-good running condition. Because it was built as a patrol car it has some inherent features. It was assigned to be used by our Patrol Division and has 138,493 miles. The engine hours on the vehicle are 14138 and the idle hours are 9452. The Bartlett Police Department adheres to a strict maintenance program, which includes oil changes every 5,000 miles and compliance with all manufacturer maintenance at suggested intervals. The new owner can be provided with the vehicle's service and maintenance history. This vehicle has had all police equipment and markings removed. All external mounting holes were plugged with rubber plugs or sealed. Within the vehicle there are numerous installation marks and screw holes due to emergency equipment mounting and removal. The center console was omitted to make room for police equipment. The interior is in fair condition with the following noted: the driver’s door armrest is splitting, driver’s seat is torn, the passenger door entry molding is loose, the floor matting in rear passenger area is loose, the rear seatbelt mounting brackets are missing, rear door knobs are missing. The exterior of the vehicle is in fair to good condition with the following noted: Paint chipping from hood, left headlight mounting bracket loose (missing screws), scuff marks and scratches on both side mirrors, multiple door dings on both sides of vehicle, scratches on back hatch and hood, rusted area around rear key hole on back hatch, dent in rear bumper, remnants of police emblems on all sides of vehicle. The vehicle up for auction has been inspected. The inspection showed the vehicle to have the following: Differential leak at the right rear axle, brakes are good though rear rotors are rusted, left rear seat belt not functioning properly, battery needs to be replaced, engine light on indicating needs bank 2 downstream O2 sensor. Because it was built as a patrol car it has some inherent features. It was assigned to be used by our Patrol Division and has 134,261 miles. This one-owner 2011 Ford F-150 was purchased in August 2011 and was used as a fully marked Community Service truck. This vehicle up for auction does not run due to engine issues. It was assigned to be used by our Patrol Division and has approx. 109,000 miles. The Bartlett Police Department adheres to a strict maintenance program, and compliance with all manufacturer maintenance at suggested intervals. The new owner can be provided with the police department’s maintenance history (this vehicle was also utilized by The Bartlett Hills Village Golf Course). This vehicle has had all police equipment and markings removed. All external mounting holes were plugged with rubber plugs or sealed.
